Virginia Beach – Charlotte Lorraine Voliva, 82, died in her home, April 30, 2015. She was born in Virginia to the late Lewis and Cora Voliva. She and her husband, Steve, were married for almost 63 years and she was the mother of seven children. Charlotte was gifted at care-giving; caring first for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and also, providing care for her Mother and Aunt. Her home was always open to everyone. She was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church in Virginia Beach where she faithfully loved the babies in the nursery throughout the years.
Charlotte is survived by five children; Cindy John Martin, Mike Voliva, Kim Paul Hathaway, Scott Voliva and Tracy Bob Vandeberg; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sibling, Beverly Al Abbitt and numerous extended family members. Recently deceased are her husband, Stephen Christo Voliva, Sr., her son, Stephen Christo Voliva, Jr., her daughter, Valerie Voliva, and her daughter-in-law, Athena Mike Voliva.
The family will receive visitors from 10 – 12 noon Monday, May 4, 2015, at Freedom Fellowship, 836 Regency Drive, Va. Beach. The funeral will be at noon with Rev. Rick Hocker and Rev. Paul Hathaway officiating
