Frances Vogt Murphy, 80 of East Liverpool passed away at Nentwick Care Center on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 following a lengthy illness.
She was born on January 30, 1935 in East Liverpool a daughter to the late Francis and Sara O’Hanlon Vogt. Frances was a 1952 graduate of East Liverpool High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati. She lived her entire life in this area working as a Manager for One Hour Martinizing and Dry Cleaning.
She is survived by her husband Harvey Murphy Jr. whom she married November 6, 1964.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Vogt; and two sisters, Alice Butler and Jayne Vogt.
No services or calling hours are planned at this time. Burial will take place in United Presbyterian Cemetery of Calcutta at a later date. The Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes has been entrusted with her arrangements.
