LINDA SUSAN PARKHURST 54 OF SHADYSIDE, OHIO DIED SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 25, 2004 IN THE OHIO VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER, WHEELING, WV.

LINDA WAS BORN JULY 16, 1950 IN BELLAIRE, OHIO, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE WILLIAM AND MARIE SCHMITT.

SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH DISCIPLES OF CHRIST SHADYSIDE, PAST PRESIDENT OF THE VFW COUNTY DISTRICT #5, A MEMBER OF THE VFW POST 5565 LADIES AUXILIARY POWHATAN POINT, OHIO.

SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY AN INFANT SON THOMAS McMAHON AND MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER RUBY NELSON.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND ALBERT L. PARKHURST, A SON ALBERT NICK LAINIE McMAHON , JR. OF SHADYSIDE, A DAUGHTER KRISINDA RENEE McMAHON OF SHADYSIDE. TWO BROTHERS, WILLIAM PENNYSCHMITT OF BELLAIRE, OHIO AND ROBERT SCHMITT OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO A STEP-SISTER CHERYL LYNN KRUPA OF MARTINS FERRY, OHIO TWO GRANDCHILDREN ALBERT NICK McMAHON III AND LINDSEY MICHELLE McMAHON.

FRIENDS WILL BE RECEIVED ON TUESDAY 2-4 PM AND 6-8 PM AT THE
BAUKNECHT-ALTMEYER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 3900 CENTRAL AVENUE SHADYSIDE OHIO, WHERE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11 AM WEDNESDAY WITH REVEREND RICHARD ELWELL OFFICIATING.

INTERMENT IN POWHATAN CEMETERY POWHATAN POINT, OHIO.

VFW AUXILIARY SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY AT 7 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE JUVENILE DIABETES SOCIETY.
