Amanda M. PRICE, 83 of Wheeling, West Virginia, formerly of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Saturday March 12, 2005 in Bishop Joseph Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling, West Virginia.

She was born December 22, 1921 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, a daughter of the late Leo and Jo Molly Green Hines.

She was retired from the Bridgeport School District, a member of the First Baptist Church in Bellaire, Ohio, where she served as church secretary, a member of Bridgeport AARP and an ardent homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Price, Sr., two sons, Gordon and Carl Price, a daughter Kimberly Price, two brothers, Lonnie and Robert Hines and two sisters Emma Dickerson and Lilly Wilkes.

Surviving are three sons Michael Price of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Clarence Price, Jr. and Wayne Tana Price, all of Bridgeport, Ohio, a daughter Robyn Jack Goddard of Wheeling, West Virginia, 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and freinds will be received on Tuesday March 15. 2005 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory 441-37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio, where services will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2005 at 1:00 PM with Elder Thomas Liggins officiating.

Interment in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
