Dale Holtzmann – Age 79 – of Fairview Heights Drive – Toronto passed away Thursday – July 22, 2004 at the Trinity Medical Center-West Steubenville.

He was born December 26, 1924 in New Bedford, PA the son of the late Sidney and Rena Belle Clark Holtzmann

Dale is a member and Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Toronto, a 1942 Toronto High School Graduate having served as Class President and is a 1949 graduate of Ohio University.

His memberships include: Toronto American Legion Post #86 / Professional Photographers of America of which he was a Life Member and Master Craftsman / Charter Member of the Professional Photographers of Ohio / Professional Photographers of West Virginia / Triangle Photographers Association of Ohio – Pennsylvania – West Virginia of which he had served as President and as a teacher for 23 years / received many national and state photography awards and was well known as the official photographer for the Toronto School System. He also served as a Council at Large member on the City of Toronto City Council / Charter member and lifetime member of the Ohio Society.

Dale had served as an Assistant Scout Master for Scout Troop #149 at the First Presbyterian Church of Toronto.

Dale was a veteran of W.W.II serving in the U.S.Army in the European Theatre of Operations and had received a Bronze Star while serving in the Army.

He was retired as the owner – manager of the Holtzmann Studio in Toronto from 1949 to 1994
