David D. Parr 40, of Dillworth Road, East Liverpool, Ohio, died Monday, July 15, 2002 at the home of his mother.

He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on August 20, 1961, and is the son of David R. and Lynn Parr of Wellsville, Ohio and Mildred L. Russell Parr of East Liverpool, Ohio.

Mr. Parr was an electrician in the construction business for IBEW Local 246. He was a 1979 graduate of East Liverpool High School and was a member of Grace Baptist Temple in East Liverpool, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Weddle Parr, whom he married August 23, 1999.

Besides his parents and wife, he is also survived by three children, Katie L., of East Liverpool, Ohio, Tonia K. and Richard L. "Larry", both at home and a brother, Darrell R. Parr of East Liverpool, Ohio.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, July 19, 2002 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Gaylord Cox of the church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends, at the funeral home in Calcutta, on Thursday, July 18, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
