Edna E. Bowers, 54, of Moundsville, died Monday, May 21, 2001, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale.

She was born January 2, 1947 in Glen Dale, WV, the daughter of the late Kershel C. Anderson and Jesse E. Bowers.

She was a retired employee of Ohio County Schools, and a Protestant by faith.

Surviving are two sons, Clay A. Bowers of Moundsville and Kershel Eric Bowers of Wheeling, WV; four brothers, John Robert Ward and his wife Janet of Moundsville, Curtis A. Bowers and his wife, Rita of Benwood, Gaylord L. Bowers and his wife Mary of Wheeling, and George M. Bowers of Moundsville; a sister, Barbara Randolf of Bastrap, La.; a granddaughter, Faith N. Bowers of Wheeling.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 214 Marshall St., McMechen. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oncology Department at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
