Erma Elaine Wellman Bumgardner, 68, of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Liza’s Place.
She was born May 19, 1946, in Glen Dale, W.Va., a daughter to the late Carl E. and Betty Lou Mason Wellman.
Erma was Methodist by faith, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post # 437, and the American Legion Post # 3.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Lynn Wellman.
She is survived by her husband, Walter E. Bumgardner of Moundsville; two sons, Paul Edward Dawn Bumgardner of Bellaire, Ohio, and Carl Albert Sherill Bumgardner of Columbia, Tenn.; one brother, Carl “Ted” Syd Wellman of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two grandsons, Joshua Paul Bumgardner of Bellaire, and Colt Bumgardner of Columbia; one granddaughter, Shelby Rummage of Columbia.
Friends will be received Monday, May 18, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Tuesday May 19, 2015 at 1 pm with Rev. Rodney Hubbs, Rev. Wesley Howsare, and Rev. Larry Richards officiating.
Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Sherrard, WV.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 122 South High Street, Morgantown W.Va. 26501.

Dear Ed, Paul and Carl, we are very sorry to hear about Erma's passing. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. We know losing someone we love is very difficult.
