Age 80

Frances Wolfe 80, of Orchard Drive, Calcutta, Ohio died Monday, April 30, 2001 at the Calcutta Health Care Center, following an extended illness.

She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on July 11, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Emma Johnston Calder.

Living her entire in the area, Mrs. Wolfe was a homemaker and enjoyed planting flowers. She also loved to watch and be around her great-grandson and the neighborhood kids.

Her husband, Jack Wolfe, whom she married, July 9, 1939, died in March of 1985.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Mellington and her husband, Bill of Calcutta, Ohio; a granddaughter, Debbie McKinney and her husband Rick of Calcutta, Ohio and a great-grandson, Justin McKinney of Calcutta, Ohio.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence P. Calder and a sister, Marie Gill.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Thursday, May 3, 2001 at 1:30 PM with the Rev. Richard Hasley of the Boyce United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Wednesday, May 2, 2001 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
