GORY R. STRUSSION, 88 OF 3925 ADAMS AVENUE SHADYSIDE, OHIO, DIED DECEMBER 1, 2004 IN BELMONT COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, BELLAIRE, OHIO.

GORY WAS BORN FEBRUARY 15, 1916 IN BARISCIANO, ITALY THE SON OF THE LATE GIOVANNI JOHN AND ASSUNTA ALTOBELLI STRUSSION.

HE WAS A RETIRED ELECTRICIAN FROM CONALCO IN HANNIBAL, OHIO, A MEMBER OF THE ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH IN SHADYSIDE, OHIO, DAV POST 117 BELLAIRE AND A WORLD WAR II ARMY VETERAN.

HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A BROTHER, LOUIS STRUSSION.

SURVIVING IS HIS WIFE HELEN MASTRANTONIO STRUSSION, A SON EUGENE NANCY STRUSSION OF MURRYSVILLE, PA; THREE GRANDDAUGHTERS, STACEY STRUSSION, AMBER STRUSSION AND KYLIE STRUSSION.

FRIENDS WILL BE RECEIVED ON THURSDAY DECEMBER 2, FROM 2-4 PM AND 6-8 PM AT THE BAUKNECHT-ALTMEYER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 3900 CENTRAL AVENUE SHADYSIDE, OHIO.

VIGIL SERVICES THURSDAY 2:15 PM IN THE FUNERAL HOME.

FUNERAL LITURGY WITH MASS WILL BE HELD AT 10 AM ON FRIDAY DECEMBER 3 AT ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, SHADYSIDE, OHIO WITH FATHER FRANK CRONIN OFFICIATING.

INTERMENT IN POWHATAN CEMETERY, POWHATAN POINT, OHIO.

MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS MAY BE MADE TO ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH OR THE SHADYSIDE FIREMAN’S ASSOCIATION.
