BARR, Harold E., 86, of Wheeling died Tuesday, November 09, 2004 at Ohio Valley Medical Center.
Born in Wheeling on April 19, 1918, Harold was the son of the late DeWitt and Mary Smith Barr.
He was a retired employee of Blaw-Know Foundry in Warwood and a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Wheeling.
Harold was a Army veteran of WWII. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by four sisters, Leona Hercules, Mabel Clark, Bernice Pelkey and Sarah Brown; three brothers, Leon Barr, William Barr and Harry Barr.
Surviving is his sister in law, Dorothy Barr with whom he resided and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Friday, November 12, 2004 at 10:30 am at St. James Lutheran Church, 1409 Chapline Street, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church. Arrangements by the McCoy Altmeyer Funeral Home, 44 15th Street Wheeling.
