June 8, 1918 - January 27, 2004

TURNER, Harry Alexander Sr., 85, of Wheeling, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday January 27, 2004.
He was born on July 8, 1918 in Wheeling, the son of the late Harry Alexander Turner and Lillian Mae Lyons Turner.
He was a truck driver for O. L. Hadom, J.E. Miller and Clarke Paper Company until his retirement. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Pride of the Valley Barbershop Singers for approximately 20 years. He also performed with the Ohio Valley Keenagers. He was an active member of St. James Lutheran Church, Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and compassionate first wife, Dolores Frances Gajewski Turner; a loving son, Harry
