Hayden Howell

November 10, 1925 - October 1, 2004

Hayden B. Howell, age 78, of 8th Street Wellsville, Ohio died at the East Liverpool City Hospital on Friday, October 1, 2004, after a lengthy illness.

The son of the late Albert Howell and Anna Mae Smith Howell, he was born in Artemus, Kentucky on November 10, 1925 and lived almost his entire life in the Wellsville area. He had been employed as a brick hacker at the former H.K. Porter Co. in Wellsville before retiring.

Mr. Howell was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II and had been a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the V.F.W. of Wellsville and the Oakridge Presbyterian Church.

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing in small lakes in the area, especially the Highlandtown Lake.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Moseby and her husband Raymond of Tracey, Minnesota, two sons, Richard W. Howell of Woodbury Heights, N.J. and Hayden
