Joyce Elaine Morden entered into rest on Saturday February 3, 2001 in her residence.

Mrs. Morden was born in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Lois May McClennon Minnie Dennison and Fred Minnie. She was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Minnie, and a granddaughter Amber Nicole Edwards.

She is survived by three daughters, Gail Ann Greaux of Tampa, Florida, Kimberlie Lynne Morden of Newport News, Virginia, and Christine Kay Edwards of Burke, Virginia; two sons, Stephen Douglas Kraft of Tampa, Florida, and Richard Robert Morden of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi; a sister Barbara Wagar of Port Huron, Michigan; as well as two grandchildren, Brian Austin Edwards, and Shannon K. Lynne Latham, and two great-grandsons, Kyle Austin Latham, and Evan Paul Latham.

A funeral service was conducted in Altmeyer Funeral Home Chapel – Newport News, by Chaplain Leanna Fuller on Monday February 5, 2001 at 7:30pm. A graveside commital service was conducted in Fairfax Memorial Park in Fairfax, Virginia at 1:00 pm on Tuesday February 6, 2001.
