Kathleen Gallupe

Died: December 31, 1969

Kathleen Eleanor Gallupe of Wheeling, child of God, was called home Wednesday, May 18, 2005, following a courageous fight with cancer.
She was a Christian, a deacon and elder at Stone Presbyterian Church where she played in the bell choir. Kathy loved quilting, cooking, gardening, hockey, trips to the beach, visiting Amish country, and making a loving home for her family. She was a former Board member and Secretary of UVOTC where she trained and taught Basic Dog Obedience and Rally-O.
Preceded in death be her father, Robert S. McCoy, she is survived by her husband George Gallupe of Wheeling, mother Elizabeth R. McCoy, a brother, Robert J. McCoy and his wife Sue of Warren, Ohio; two children, Air Force SSgt Michael Elser and Army Sgt. Jason Elser and their families, five grandchildren, and her beloved Dalmatian, Ivy.
Friends will be received from 12-3 and 6-8 pm Sunday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, May 23, 2005 at Stone Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Robert Nagy officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Stone Presbyterian Church, 25 East Cove Avenue, Wheeling.
