Martha WEEKS, 72, of Bellaire, Ohio died Thursday November 17, 2005 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.
She was born May 9, 1933, in Jacobsburg, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Nellie Tiber Weekley.
Martha was a former employee of the Shady Bell Motel, was a member of the South Bellaire United Methodist Church, the Womens Society and Bunco Club.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her stepmother, Irene Weekley, two half-brothers, Robert and David Mellott and a half sister, Vivian Benson.
Martha was a caring, giving person who never knew a stranger. She was a loving wife to her husband of 55 years, Ralph W. Weeks, and was a devoted and loving mother to her children, Nancy Marling and her husband Russ of Shadyside, Ohio, Howard James Weeks and wife Debbie, Harold Gene Weeks, David Allan Weeks and wife Rita, all of Bellaire, Ohio, and Scott William Weeks and wife Jennifer of Shadyside, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jason and Mindy Marling, Jessica, Amy, Christopher, Brian, Zachary and Julia Weeks, and her great grandson, Jason Bruce Marling.
Martha is also survived by a brother James Bill Tiber and his wife Joyce of Bellaire; four half-brothers, Paul and George Mellott of Wooster, Roger Mellott of Columbus, Ohio and William Weekley of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and three half sisters, Virginia of New Mexico, Linda of California and Eleanor Mellott of Cleveland, Ohio.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday November 20, 2005 from Noon until 8 PM at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory 441-37th Street, Bellaire, where services will be held on Monday November 21, 2005 at 12 Noon with Reverend James Hoff officiating.
Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or the South Bellaire Methodist Church.
