Age 90

Mary J. Metz McGraw, 90 of St. George Street, East Liverpool, Ohio, died on Sunday April 8, 2001 at East Liverpool Convalescent Center #1 following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Poland on September 8, 1910 and was the daughter of the late Carl & Josephine Metz.

Living her entire life in the area, Mrs. McGraw was a Nanny and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

Her husband, Charles Cecil McGraw, whom she married in 1928, died in 1966.

She is survived by a son Charles Cecil McGraw and his wife, Judy of Calcutta, Ohio; two daughters, Louise Ann ”Dottie” McGraw of East Liverpool, Ohio and Irene Young of Mesquite, Texas; two sisters, Pauline Flodzinski of Canada and Francis Szetela of Baltimore, Maryland; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Thursday, April 12, 2001 at 10:00 AM with Father George Balasko of the church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Wednesday, April 11, 2001 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, when a Prayer Service will be held at 8:00 PM
