Mary Lou Thornton, 76, of Lloydsville, Ohio , died Saturday at Crestview Nursing Home.
She was born April 1, 1928 at Belmont, Ohio, a daughter of the late William "Plumber" and Trixie Nolan Thornton.
Mary Lou was a clerk for Loo’s Pharmacy, St. Clairville and a life member of Lloydsville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Jean McMahon of Lloydsville, a nephew, Jim and his wife Barb McMahon, a niece, Mrs. Bill Carol Sykes, two great nieces, two great nephews and a great-great nephew.
Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Tuesday at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Clairsville, where services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Gene Miller officiating.
Intrment will be in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lloydsville United Methodist Church.
