Minetta Minch Michaels

Minetta L. Minch Michaels, 82 of Edgington Lane, Wheeling, formerly of Mozart Road, died Monday April 2, 2001 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling.

She was born May 5, 2001 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Charles and Magdaline Michel Minch. She was a retired cook for the Bella Via Restaurant in Wheeling for over 25 years, was a member of St Michael Catholic Church, and was a member of the Christian Mothers and the Legion of Mary at St. Michael Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Michaels Sr.; a son, Robert P. Michaels Sr.; a sister, Elizabeth Dague; and a brother, Al Minch.

Surviving are three sons, Charles A. Michaels and his wife Diana of Gaithersburg, MD, John Michaels and his wife Madalaine of San Jose, CA, and Albert Michaels Jr. and his wife Rose Anne of Oak Hill, WV; two sisters, Anna Marie West of Wheeling, and Emily Toliver and her husband Eugene of Medina, OH; two brothers, Charles Minch and his wife Peg of Elm Grove, and Howard Minch and his wife Beverly of Wheeling; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 4, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday April 5, 2001 at 10:00 am at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. James Sobus as celebrant. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Nursing Home, 159 Edgington Lane, Wheeling, WV, 26003.
