Takach, Rita J., 57, of Glen Dale, WV, died Sunday, November 21, 2004 at her home.She was born November 21, 1947 in Huntington, WV. Rita was a retired Reading Teacher with the Marshall County Schools at the Washington Lands Elementary School, and was a member of the Glen Dale United Methodist Church, Glen Dale. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren L. Jarvis.
Surviving are her husband, David A. Takach; her mother, Dorothy Jarvis of Glen Dale; two daughters, Christy R. Takach of Concord, North Carolina and Lisa A. Tucker and her husband, Cliff, of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania; a sister, Sandra J. Paisley and her husband, Doug, of Glen Dale; a granddaughter, Emily Katelyn Tucker and several nephews.
Friends received 3-5 and 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, WV, where services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 24, 2004 with the rev. Billy Ray Carpenter officiating. Interment in the Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.Memorial contributions may be made to the John Marshall Trust Fund, 1300 Wheeling Ave., Glen Dale, WV 26038 or the Washington Lands Elementary School, RR 4 Box 255, Moundsville, WV 26041.
