McCoy, Rosella Dorsch, 94, of Wheeling, WV. died Tuesday, March 16, 2004 in Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born May 18, 1909 in Wheeling a daughter of the late Frank W. and Rose Anna Weiblinger Dorsch.
She was a Catholic by faith and a former secretary with the Board of Trades in Wheeling.
Rosella lived in Florida for 30 years where she was an avid golfer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. C. Glen McCoy, a daughter, Catherine Ann "Kitty" Savarino in 2003, a brother, William Dorsch, a sister, Madelyn Koehler.
Surviving is two grandsons, Robert P. Savarino and his wife Connie of Chicago, Il; James E. Savarino of Seattle Wa; two great grandchildren, Maggie Dutton and her husband Loren and Matthew Savarino, a brother, Frank C. Dorsch and his wife Norma Jean of Weirton, WV; a sister Mary Margaret "Mitzi" Sells and her husband Raymond E. of Baltimore, Md; a son-in-law, Philip Savarino of Wheeling; many nieces and nephews.
Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2004 at St. Joseph Cathedral with the Rev. Larry Dorsch as celebrant. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Cathedral Memorial Fund, 1300 Eoff St., Wheeling.
