POSTLEWAIT, Verl, 72, of Warwood, Wheeling, died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at home.
He was retired from Blaw Knox Foundry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rose Downing Postlewait; and a brother, Robert Postlewait. Surviving are five sons, Bill Postlewait and his wife, Kathy, of Kentucky, Ed Postlewait and his wife, Texanne, of Triadelphia, James Postlewait of Michigan, Michael Postlewait of Triadelphia, and Jeff Postlewait of Wheeling; three daughters, JoAnne Mitchum, Margaret Fry and her husband, Audi, all of Wheeling, and Helen McCracken and her husband, Bob, of West Alexander, PA.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends received 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2001, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling. There will be no visitation Wednesday, July 4, 2001. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Parkview Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.
