Yvonne Marie Brooks, 67, of Warnock, Ohio, died Sunday February 6, 2005 , in the arms of her family.
She was born March 6, 1937 at Craigsville, WV, a daughter of the late Jennings and Inis Rigsby Kyer.
Yvonne was a former lab technician for Saginaw Mining Co., a nature lover and a Protestant by faith.
In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Merideth and brothers Jack and Marlin.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Dallas Brooks, a son, Michael of St. Clairsville, her daughters, Debbie Patterson, Bridgeport, Ohio, Sheila Britton, Holloway, Ohio, Sharon and her husband Ralph Underwood, Centerville, Ohio, Paula and her husband Michael Frollini, Shadyside, Ohio and Janet Skiba, St. Clairsville, her grandchildren, Kenny Brooks, Stacey and Kevin Underwood, Erin Cheatham, Amanda Patterson, Becky, Joey and Andy Fulton, Robyn and Bobby Britton, Michael and Billy Frollini and her great grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Brandon, Haylea, Laekynn, Zayne, Alleigh and Logan. Also surviving are her brothers, Don, Roger, Dale and Jerry Kyer and her sisters, Betty Runion and Karen Kyer.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Wednesday at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM.
Burial follows at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
